The Races
The Moray Marathon is the only road marathon in the North & East of Scotland in the Springtime. This is also a fast course for those looking for qualifying times. This race has chip timing, prizes, and a family friendly finishing area for those cheering you on. We hope to make it one of the most loved events on the calendar and a first choice for your marathon in North of Scotland. We aim to keep the event at it's current size to ensure all runners feel supported no matter their race goals. Our first race was in April 2024 and was a huge success & loved by marathoners of all abilities. From 2025, we added a 20 Mile Race - the only in the North of Scotland. Measured, flat and fast, a perfect tune up race before a different Spring marathon, or a great way to run your last long run before Manchester or London with 350 other runners! The Chilled 20 joins the marathon course at 6.2 miles and runs the same route to the finish line.
